Stranger(’s) Touch is an art project under the guise of a beauty brand, attempting to nudge the way we view everyday touch.

We interact with an innumerable amount of surfaces in our day-to-day lives. Quiet, ordinary and banal, these unnoticed surfaces are the ones that we keep coming back to. From the grasp of a coffee cup to the finishing of our dining table, each of these interactions unassumingly occupy a majority of our lives. More often than not, these objects are designed to fit our touch.

Stranger(’s) Touch seeks to change that through a series of products that challenge or provoke touch in our daily spaces. From soap bars that are shaped like used ones to cups that touch back, each product infiltrates the daily space as a reminder to appreciate the poetics of everyday touch.
